Attended by local professionals and philanthropists, the Breakfast also announces the annual Ritz Family Award recipient. Named for honorees Pat and Trudy Ritz, the Ritz Family Award recognizes those who have made a longstanding commitment to serve children and families in our community of care.

Our signature event of the year, Fall Celebration is our annual fundraising gala celebrating the success of our programs working with young adults impacted by the foster care system. More than 250 attendees join us for a cocktail hour followed by a fun and inspiring program featuring a keynote youth speaker and live paddle raise. See pictures from last year’s event.

Each holiday season, every young person in our programs, as well as other youth in their home, can submit a holiday wish list. These wish lists are sponsored by community members and organizations, culminating in the Holiday Cheers & Volunteers gift-wrapping event. In 2025, more than 500 youth were sponsored through Holiday Heroes.
