Our Mission
With the demand for quality children’s mental health services at an all-time high, Youth Villages is in the midst of its most dramatic transformation in its 15-year presence in Georgia. This transformation will radically elevate the quality of mental and behavioral health services for children both in Georgia and across the country.
What We’ll Do
To meet this ambitious vision, we’ve set out to engage a diverse group of individuals, corporations and foundations in a bold $70 million campaign to make these plans a reality. This will be the largest investment in Youth Villages’ history to date.

A message from our director
It is my privilege and joy to lead Youth Villages Georgia through this historic initiative that will have an amazing impact on the lives of children and families we serve. This campaign will elevate the natural healing environment at Inner Harbour with modern state-of-the-art facilities to meet the needs of children. These new facilities will also drastically improve the workspace experience of over 300 passionate staff. This will positively impact their ability to meet the needs of children on campus.
When completed, we will be able to increase our service capacity by 20% and position Inner Harbour to meet the growing demand for high quality residential services. Entrusting a residential provider to properly care for a child is not an easy decision on the part of a parent or caregiver. These enhancements will provide reassurance that their child will receive high quality care in a space intentionally designed to meet their therapeutic needs.
This kind of growth and improvement will make Youth Villages a destination for committed mental health care professionals. The impact of this project will reverberate through generations, transforming lives and families for decades to come.
