FAYETTEVILLE,
N.C. (Feb. 21, 2019) – Youth Villages invites the community to
an open house at its new Fayetteville office Thursday, Feb. 28 from 1 to 2:30
p.m. at 159 Maxwell St.
There will be a ribbon-cutting at 1:30 p.m. at the office on the second floor
of the Greater Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce building in Fayetteville’s
historic downtown.
Eleven counselors and staff will work from the office
serving children, families and young people in Cumberland, Lee, Harnett,
Johnston and Moore Counties.
Attendees will have the chance to meet Youth Villages
staff and learn more about programs and services provided in the area. Youth
Villages North Carolina provides YVIntercept intensive in-home services to
children with emotional and behavioral problems and their families in
Cumberland County who have Alliance Medicaid coverage. The YVLifeSet program
supports older foster youth in Cumberland and the surrounding counties so that
they can become successful, independent adults.
