Donation to support programs for youth and families

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (Sept. 15, 2025) — National nonprofit Youth Villages, a leader in children’s mental and behavioral health, has been awarded a $112,500 multi-year grant from the KPMG U.S. Foundation. Youth Villages provides critical services that help youth and families live successfully, with a focus on mental health, foster care, adoption and programs for young adults aging out of child welfare systems. Through the grant partnership, Youth Villages will expand access to its services and continue building strong futures for children and families in Tennessee and across the nation.

The grant is part of a nationwide initiative, awarding more than $2 million this summer to nonprofit organizations across the country that are transforming lives through education, mental health support and community empowerment.

“We are grateful to the KPMG U.S. Foundation for their investment in our mission,” said Marcie Mulhern, director of development for Youth Villages West Tennessee. “This grant will allow us to expand access to life-changing programs and ensure more young people have the tools and support they need to thrive.”

“Youth Villages’ evidence-based approach is transforming outcomes for children and families in Memphis and beyond,” said Ruby Hancock, KPMG Memphis Office Managing Partner. “We are excited to collaborate with them and support their work in empowering the next generation to grow, succeed and achieve their dreams.”
