Youth Villages representatives: Rae Hummell, Julie Abbott, Lyndsay Wilkinson and Greg Schott celebrate CrossPoint winning Civic Volunteer Group of the Year with representatives from CrossPoint: Sarah Stephanoff, Jaclyn Wallace and Doug Thiesen.

Congrats to CrossPoint for winning the Civic Group Volunteer Award at this year’s Mary Catherine Strobel Awards hosted by Hands On Nashville.

The Strobel Awards are the largest celebration of service in the Greater Nashville community.

The Civic Volunteer Group Award recognizes representatives of civic, membership, faith-based or non-corporate groups that volunteer together for a specific cause or issue.

CrossPoint was honored for their service and commitment to Youth Villages’ Nashville group homes. Their efforts have included monthly activities and dinners at the group homes, beautification and landscaping projects, donations to the Backpack Heroes and Holiday Heroes program and financial support of the YVLifeSet program.

The Mary Catherine Strobel Volunteer Awards, held in partnership with the family of Mary Catherine Strobel, is in its 33rd year, and the awards luncheon is attended by 600-plus guests
